작가는 대자연의 낯섦으로부터 일상의 새로움을 부여받고, 순환적 질서 속에서 일어나는 변화무쌍함에 대한 관찰과 해석을 금속의 유연성으로 표현했다. 생장하고 소멸하는 자연의 찰나에 차갑고 날카로운 금속의 속성을 덧입혀 이질적인 만남을 주도했다. 기억과 경험에 각인된 자연의 질서, 즉 소멸과 생성의 순환을 섬세하고 반복적인 손의 노동을 통해 발현한 그의 작품은 모호해진 기능에 새로운 의미가 일어나고 있다.
The artist bestows novelty upon the everyday from the unfamiliarity of nature, expressing observations and interpretations of the ever-changing diversity within cyclical orders through the flexibility of metal. By overlapping the cold and sharp properties of metal onto the fleeting moments of growth and demise in nature, they lead an encounter of disparity. The works, manifested through delicate and repetitive labor of hands, engrave the order of nature, namely the cycle of destruction and creation, imprinted in memory and experience, imbuing ambiguous functions with new purpose.
