흙이 이끄는 기운은 공예의 아름다움과 만나 각박하게 살아가는 현대인들에게 ‘숨’과 ‘쉼’의 순환 작용을 제공한다. 주어진 그대로의 모양에 순응한 그의 다기는 계획적으로 가공한 사물의 자태를 지우고 소박한 빛과 직관으로 정서를 드리운다. 비록 작가의 개인적 감성이 짙게 밴 기물이지만 부지런한 쓰임으로 사물의 가치가 날로 새로워지는 경험을 가질 수 있다.
The energy led by earth meets the beauty of craftmanship, providing modern people, who live harshly, with the cycle of ‘breath’ and ‘rest’. His vessels, which obediently adhere to their given form, erase the appearance of intentionally processed objects and radiate emotions with simple light and intuition. Though the objects are deeply imbued with the artist’s personal sensibilities, through diligent use, the value of the objects are renewed day by day.
