작가는 1997년 런던 자연사박물관 수장고에서 네팔에서 온 식물 표본과의 만남에서 과거, 현재, 미래의 연속적 이치가 영원히 존재할 수 있음을 깨닫는다. 우연과 필연에 의한 자연과의 조우에 경의를 표하며, 마음의 기억과 경험을 유형화하는 기제로서의 금속은 중첩된 시간을 한순간에 영속시키며 삶을 기록하게 된다.
In 1997, the artist had an encounter with plant specimens from Nepal in the vaults of the Natural History Museum in London, realizing the continuous essence of past, present, and future that could exist eternally. Expressing reverence for the encounter with nature, whether by chance or necessity, metal serves as a medium to formalize the memories and experiences of the heart, instantaneously perpetuating overlapping moments of time and recording life.
